What We Believe

At Grace Lutheran Church, we believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for all we teach and confess. As a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), we joyfully proclaim Jesus Christ as Savior—crucified and risen—for the forgiveness of sins and the life of the world.

We are saved purely by God’s grace, not by our own works or efforts.

Grace Alone

We receive God’s gifts through faith in Jesus Christ.

Faith Alone

God’s Word is the sole rule and guide for our life and teaching.

Scripture Alone

Rooted in Scripture. United in Christ.
Bold in Grace.

We believe that through the Means of Grace—God’s Word and Sacraments (Baptism and the Lord’s Supper)—the Holy Spirit creates and sustains saving faith. Worship is not something we do for God, but where God comes to serve us.
